~ Brooke Shields, during an interview to become spokesperson for a federal anti-smoking campaign Give it Your Best Shot "Million Dollar Baby," is a great film. Not the normal Clint Eastwood shoot 'em up style at all. There's a powerful lesson we can learn from this emotional, human drama. That is... when you decide you want to do something, go for it and give it your best shot. The film's boxing star rose above her appalling family and followed her own road. She transcended pain — her grim determination to win thru, to achieve her goal, meant that resetting her broken nose, (it hurts me even to think about that scene), was just something that HAD to be done the fastest and most efficient way right there and then. Everything she did was focused on winning. You can do this to. It's a matter of programming your mind to achieve your goal. This is all done in a clear and simple way on the Quit for Good course for around one hour a day for one week — without breaking your nose! Do what this boxer did, put your best foot forward, get the satisfaction of winning and just like her, you too can proudly say you "Gave it your best shot." Grab one of these pre-washed, prepared and bagged veggies from the shop, plus a tub of dip to go, and reach in and grab a handful when you need to... at the office, home, in the car or out and about.
