HEYLEN RESEARCH CENTER STUDY
On the Quit for Good Stop Smoking Program

In a random sample of 479 participants in the Seven Day Stop Smoking Programme, the results were:

  • 83% quit totally in 7 days
  • The remaining participants reduced down to an average of 2 cigarettes per day
  • This represented an average reduction in smoking of 97% for all participants.

Graph shows results averaged across all smokers.

quit smoking program research results graph.

Before 7 Day Course, average cigarette consumption per day was 29 cigarettes.

After 7 Day Course, average reduction across all smokers was less than one cigarette per day.

THESE RESULTS ARE BETTER THAN (OR COMPARABLE) WITH ANY OTHER SMOKING CESSATION METHOD IN THE WORLD, REPORTED IN PUBLISHED LITERATURE.

Important note: Less than 1% of smokers failed to complete the 7 Day Course.

This is significant, as some other programmes or methods may base their claims for success only on the proportion of smokers who complete a course, ignoring the drop-out rate which can be well in excess of 50% in some cases.

A true report of success of a method is the total number of smokers who commenced a course and succeed in quitting.

With the 7 Day Plan, a massive 83% of smokers who commenced the programme, actually QUIT during their course.
