As you may know from the last newsletter and our website, we recommend smoothies when you quit smoking. Here's a novel idea, and if you are helping a friend quit too, this makes an extra nice touch...
Rose petals are edible, and dark red ones have the best... wait for it, yes, flavour. Carefully remove petals, cut off white heel and freeze them in ice cubes. Serve in your cold drinks. Very classy!
Use your imagination some more. Make your ice cubes out of fruit juice then add the petals. Scatter fresh petals on salads, desserts and dressings.
Quitting smoking and sweet dreams
According to the dream dictionary amongst their dream facts — such as men tend to dream more about other men, while women dream equally about men and woman — people who are giving up smoking have longer and more intense dreams.
Don't ask me how they know all this, don't ask them how they know either, but here's your way
to sweet dreams:
